mutt society

The Ignite film stemmed from an itch to be creative. We were about 4 months in the COVID-19 Pandemic and I was back in my home state of New Hampshire. I had been in contact with Sean Mitchell, throwing ideas back and forth to get our creative juices flowing. Downhill mountain biking is a big industry around Central New Hampshire due to the local Highland Mountain downhill course. It is a major attraction for highly skilled professional bikers. We contacted Trent Saunders, a co-founder of a group called Mutt Society, and after a location scout we had devised a loose plan. After a few phone calls, we had a crew assembled and a date set. At the time, I had just purchased a second RED camera, along with Dan Olivares’ RED Scarlet-W, we has three matching RED Dragon Sensors and paired it with Vintage Zeiss Super Speed Mark III’s from Talamas Rentals. We had just one day scheduled for filming and in the end, got a bunch of epic footage from the riders that we were able to turn into a great piece for Mutt Society.
